Meet Hades

Hi everyone I'm Hades! Please don't judge me for the name choice, I had no say when it was chosen. I was found as a stray, I somehow ended up on the euthanasia list, they came and rescued me! I am a 2 year old retriever mix, and am a large size boy. My favorite things to do are to go for walks, and to play outside with my foster brother. My foster parents say I'm an active boy who loves to play! I know sit, but I'm still working on my basic manners. I'm highly teachable, and food motivated! I walk well on a leash, but sometimes get distracted when I see another dog or cat. I just want to go play! I've never been close to a cat so I'm not sure how I would react, but I'm definitely dog friendly. My foster parents think I would do best having another dog sibling in the home to play with. I haven't been around children, but when I hear the neighbors kids playing outside, I sometimes cry because I want to join them! My foster parents think I would do best in a home with older children because I'm still working on not jumping on everyone to greet them. Our dogs are fostered but available for adoption. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
