Meet Hank

Hank, 2.5 years old, neutered male, Pitbull Terrier mix, 90 pounds. He is in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport to an approved adopter. Please note, he is physically located in the state of Texas.

Hank is a big guy, with a lot of love to give! He shares a home with a female Rottweiler who is about a year old. He loves to play and will do best with another dog similar in size. He enjoys running around the backyard with his foster sister. He has great dog manners and will do wonderful with a dog playmate or as an only dog.

He could use some work on his leash skills. He tends to pull. He will stay close on a walk, but wants to pull to check things out. He is an energetic guy who will need/want physical outlets.

Hank shares a home with kids 4 & 6 years old and LOVES them. He loves to give face kisses and arm/leg licks. We think he would do great in a home with kids of any age who have respectful boundaries with animals. We have no history with cats.

He is fully housebroken. He does fine when crated. This guy can EAT so he is fed separately so he doesn't gobble up the other dogs food too. He is not reactive in any way. He loves to play tug of war with dogs and humans. He REALLY loves toys with stuffing and generally takes him a couple days before destroying them.

He is very loyal and knows commands, "sit, stay, paw and come." He will bark to let you know when he's ready to come from the backyard. He loves to run and will do best in a home who is looking for an active dog. He loves water hoses and is very excited when seeing water in general. He also loves trampolines :)
