Harlow

Harlow – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 2yrs – female (42lbs) Meet our sweet girl, Harlow! Harlow was found running loose in a construction area.

She was very skinny and very pregnant.

Construction workers were feeding her, but when they realized she was pregnant, they called Animal control and she was picked up and taken to the county shelter.

When they called us to ask for help, we were happy to step up and bring her into our rescue.

Harlow was taken straight to our “mama-foster” where she was cared for and given a quiet place to have her puppies.

Sadly, shortly after she gave birth to three puppies, they all died.

We believe that Harlow was so malnourished when she was pregnant that her puppies weren’t strong enough to survive.

Now Harlow has gained weight, is looking great, has been spayed, and is ready to find her forever home.

We have no idea how such a petite frame can have so much personality! Harlow is outgoing, sassy, and absolutely hilarious.

She cracks us up on a daily basis with her big opinions and silly expressions.

She plays well with other dogs and would love another dog in her forever home.

Like most staffy mixes, her playstyle is rough and tumble.

We know that she uses a doggie-door well, but don’t know yet if she’s housebroken without one.

Now that she’s healthy, she seems to be living each day to the fullest – her past is in the past and she’s not looking back! She’s happy and grateful for all the new opportunities and we’re so glad that she’s now going to get to live the life she deserves.
