Meet Harriet
The most gentle lady you will come across. She has lived a long and hard life previously and now loves to just relax. Enjoying each passing day quietly and drama-free.
Harriett is still a bit skittish when startled by loud and sudden sounds or movements. However, since being in foster care, she has started to show signs of positive growth towards a normal life. Harriet shows curiosity, and is happy to explore the world around her. Harriett has been working on her social skills. Slowly opening up to meeting new doggo friends during her walks.
She is currently taking anxiety medication and will most likely need to be on anxiety medication for the rest of her life.
Harriet must be the only dog in the home but might do well with a calm cat.
She can live with many people (including children) in the house as long as she can have a quiet corner to hang out. If there was another dog/animal in the house, she'd probably prefer a less-active companion. Harriett isn't a very active dog. Doesn't play or run around much, which makes for a great companion with equal energy. Hoping to find a forever home to continue to help her find more positive experiences with new friends!
