Meet Harris
This handsome guy is Harris. He is about 3 years old. He was born with a front paw deformity. He does not need to have the leg amputated unless something changes in how he does things but for now, he gets along just fine. He uses his deformed paw to scoop food and water and do many other things with it. We believe Harris has some vision issues. He will lash out at people if they do not give him his space or if you move quickly. We think that he isn't always able to see everything so reacts worse. He will swat or use his mouth to tell you that he doesn't feel safe. Harris needs to be the only pet in the home. He does not like cats or dogs. He should not be around children since his temperament can seem to rapidly change. Again, we think this change could be visual issues but we are unable to know for certain. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and is FIV/FeLV negative. The claw on the deformed paw was grown in when we got him. He will need ongoing care for that which may require some skill to allow him to cut his nails or possibly medications to allow you to bring him to have his nails done.
