Meet Hartman
*Hartman is located in Houston, TX with ground transport options to the Pacific Northwest area (including Pendleton) for all out of state adopters.*
This beautiful boy was found as a stray and brought to the shelter by animal control. He was on the euthanasia list- we saw his final plea and couldn't believe he was still at the shelter. We picked him up and our vet made room for him to board there and get neutered.
Hartman is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 67 lbs. Hartman is extremely friendly with people and we believe he will be good with kids. He does need some training with manners, but is eager to learn. He has met dogs of all sizes and has been great with them. He is active and would need daily exercise. He loves rough housing and running with other dogs- so an active companion would be the best match. He is crate trained, and we believe he will be clean in the house- but we haven't seen him in a home yet to verify that! He is pretty good with not pulling hard on a leash, and he is not reactive. He has met cats and does not like them- but he's been around dogs under 10 lbs and he has not bothered them.
He is currently at a boarding facility in doggy daycare having the time of his life while waiting for an adopter.
Hartman is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heart worm negative.
