Harvey

Harvey is a very sweet 10 year old Terrier who does not act his age! He thoroughly enjoys being outdoors exploring the garden and had a great time frolicking through the snow. He could live in a home with children of secondary school age and older and would be happy being left alone for short periods of time. He needs a home without cats and has never lived with another dog before so would require meets prior to adoption if there were any dogs in the home. When out and about he does bark at some dogs he meets and pulls to get towards them.

Harvey loves getting attention from people, he is such a friendly little chap! In the home he likes to curl up on the sofa beside you, get back scratches from the carpet or bottom step of the stairs and play with soft toys or tug of war. He enjoys a couple of walks a day where he can sniff out what has been there before him and come the evening he tends to curl up on the sofa where he sleeps all night right through to the next morning. Harvey is a clever boy who already knows some basic commands, and since being in the foster home the foster carers have been working at having him settle in his crate or another room whilst they are eating, he is taking to this training very well as he knows he will get tasty treats.
