Hayes is a sweet, energetic, and curious little guy that loves his four legged playmates.
When Hayes and his littermates were originally rescued they had had very little human interaction, so he is catching up on learning that humans equal good things.
He follows the lead of the other dogs in his foster home and learns by their example.
He is full of that fun loving puppy playfulness and loves nothing more than a good wrestle or tug o' war with his 4-legged pals.
He definitely has to go into a household with another dog.
He is not big on human cuddling (although that may come with time and patience) but does enjoy being around the other humans in the family and being included in the day to day family activities.
His foster family has loved seeing his confidence grow and his personality begin to shine.
Hayes is extremely smart and loves to work on his training.
He is mastering his basics such as sit, down, stay, targeting and leave-it, as well as working on some basic handling skills that he is still getting used to.
Before getting rescued, human hands meant scary things, now he's learning that they mean soft pets, good scratches, and yummy treats.
Hayes is working on his kennel training, and has done well with his potty training.
We would love to see him find a family of his own that he can continue to grow and bond with.
