Meet Hector! An adorable, compact 5 yr old, 50 lb cutie pie! His person has unfortunately passed away, so he's in search of a new family.
Although he lived with another dog, he hasn't been socialized much with other dogs, so we're not sure how he would do with one.
Hector goes for daily walks on a back road, in the rural area where he currently live.
His behavior has improved and he seems happier and looks very forward to those walks and getting out to run.
He also loves playing with his new squeaky ball toy, it's such total cuteness to see him wag his tale playfully and bark at it when it squeaks.
He also has a favorite blanket that he snuggles with at night and often runs in the bedroom, gets his blanket and drags it into the living room where we watch TV together.
He loves warm weather and likes to sunbathe on nice days.
Dog "biscuits" is a favorite word of his and gets him excited.
When I introduced him to a new kind, a beef flavored dog-bone shaped biscuit made by Blue Buffalo, he started wagging his tale super fast, tossing it in the air & barking at it before finally realizing it was editable, then laid down and finished it off! Hector is a good dog and he deserves an active and full doggie life style.
With more of the right training and interaction with other dogs and people, he could really hone in on his intelligence.
Hector is located in Royal Oaks, CA.
