Available for adoption or foster to adopt! Meet Heidi! Positives: This sweet girl is an affectionate, young and is an eager to please couch potato.

She’s your typical giant breed who would do well going on outdoor activities during the day and hang out with you on the couch in the evenings.

She gets along well with other dogs and could do well in a home with a dog companion.

She walks well on a leash as well and has a nice demeanour about her.

Things she needs support on: Heidi is a big girl and still has her puppy energy.

She will need someone who can provide her with physical exercise and mental stimulation.

She’s coming back to us as an owner surrender and will need time to decompress as she will likely be confused with what is happening.

She’s going to need support on building up her confidence and to learn some basic training and manners.

She will need some who is willing to build trust with her slowly and understands she may take a bit of time.

She previously had some resource guarding with food and was protective of her owner.

She will need an experienced handled who knows how to manage giant breeds.

Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Kid friendly: Yes but she would do better with older dog savvy kids as she’s a giant breed and could knock smaller kids over with her size.
