He was found with his brother dumped in a field in Bakersfield and taken to a kill shelter.

His brother was taken to a foster and adopted within a week.

Now its Herbs turn to find his forever home! Herb is a perfect sweetheart.

He is a huge goofball.

He loves to run and play and would do best in a home with yard.

He gets along with other dogs, and is friendly with all people.

Hed be fine with older kids due to his size.

Herb is very affectionate and will be an amazing and loyal best friend.

Herbie is an absolute love bug! His foster parents have never met a dog as sweet as Herbie.

He LOVES all people, and just wants to be with his humans! Hes always there to put his head in your lap or offer his belly for some rubs.

In addition, hes super easygoing in the house, content to just be in your presence and lounge with you.

Hes nearly potty trained and respects furniture, and sleeps through the night at the foot of the bed.

Herbies still learning his leash manners and is reactive towards other dogs while out on walks, but has picked up new commands quickly and is working well on his training.

Hes even gone on runs with his foster dad! Hes truly the perfect fit for anyone who leads an active lifestyle, or a family who wants a best friend curled up at their feet.
