Meet Herb

This adorable boy and his siblings found themselves at a local high kill shelter before our rescue stepped in to save them. Herb is very sweet and playful. He enjoys being held, is great with kids and dogs. Herb is looking for a forever home with lots of love to give! Could that be you? We estimate he was born in May 2023.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Leo’s Friends Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.).

Our out of state adoption fee is $300 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, a heartworm test if over 6 months old, and health certificate.

Note: LFR reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
