HTTR Application Process:
1. Check out HTTR's website and Facebook. Find the great cat or kitten you are interested in!
2. Complete all questions on the ADOPTION APPLICATION and submit. We ask all potential adopters to complete the application before visiting the cats first since cats/kittens are in private homes.
3. Typically we begin the process within 24-48 hours of receiving the application. We review the application and check references. Depending on when references reply or their responses, may extend the processes. The time frame for adoptions have taken 1 day to 2 weeks. ATTENTION DUE TO LIMITED VOLUNTEERS THE APPLICATION PROCESSING TIME IS EXTENDED- THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING!
4. During the process we will: contact references, contact your veterinarian clinic to ensure all your current domestic pets are current on vaccinations, and homeowner association/landlord pet-regulations.
5. Next, we will have a consultation about any questions you have, information about the cat/kitten you are interested in, any other information needed.
6. With an approved application/consultation, come meet the one you seek!! Or maybe two or maybe someone different. We work hard at finding you the right match!
7. Interested in a cat with special needs? (FIV+, FeLuk, social, etc) Applicants must become familiar with the cats need before placing an application. Talk to your veterinarian and internet searches.
