Look at this handsome devil! Bet you're dying to know who he is! Why, this is Horus the sphinx kitty, and he can't wait to meet you! Nothing has torn this boy's spirit down, and trust us when we say, he's been through the wringer.

Horus was discovered wandering around outside by a rescuer - skin burnt from the sun and feet blistered from the hot asphalt. He was suffering greatly from giardia, which left him dehydrated. Not much is known about his past, but you can see from the look in his eye that he's had a rough. His eye was suffering from a stubborn corneal ulcer, which required 3 different eye medications. Thankfully, his current foster is currently working to help it heal. His eye may be hazy, but he is happy to report that he can see clearly with it! He's also excited to announce that he is cured from giardia, and he's eager to find his new family!

Initially, Horus was rehomed with another human, but a serious fight broke out between Horus and the family's dog. This left Horus with a bad experience, so he's asking if his new family minds if he's an only pet. He knows it's a lot to ask, but we don't have to tell you that he will be all you ever need!

Why would we say that? Here's a bigger question: are you ready to hear all about this fella?

Although Horus hasn't had the best first years of his life, he's STILL willing to give life another shot! His love for humans has never wavered - not even once! All he does is adore his humans and wants to douse them with love! (Of course, he wants some in return!) This boy is a true human-loving kitty; there's no getting around it!

Giving Horus any amount of attention will automatically make you his best friend! Well, we can never have too many of those! If you really want brownie points, though, try giving playtime a try! This little maniac loves toys! He'll play with almost anything: balls, crinkle-balls, you name it! However, number one on his list is string toys! Those things are THE best thing in the whole wide world!

Not only is he a playful kitty, but Horus is also quite the talker! He'll tell you what's on his mind or take in the latest gossip. It's not a rarity to see this little man walk up and down the hallways saying "Meow" this or "M'ow" that. Perhaps it's because he can't wait to talk about his latest adventures! That's right! Horus is an explorer! Curiosity fills this boy's mind 24/7, and he wants to find new "secrets" in the house. He gets so excited when he does that he just HAS to tell you about it! Looking out through a window is one of the ways he likes to satiate his curiosity. (Of course, your blinds might be in his way of his viewing pleasure!) Let's just say that Horus is definitely a contender for the world's top 10 best cats!
