Meet Howard 35963
Howard is an 1-year-and 8-month-old male Pit Bull mix who has already been neutered.. He came to PAHS, like so many others have, as a stray who was found in the city. Howard's owner never came in to reclaim him. He is a nice looking guy who has a black coat with white markings. Howard weighs 41 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized young adult dog. He is super active, and for that reason, we would suggest he not be in a home with small children. Howard would be fine with older kids. Howard is working on his leash training; and we think, with a little patience, he will soon be walking on a leash like a pro. He seems to like other dogs; but if you have another dog, we would suggest a meet and greet with Howard and your dog at the shelter. Howard would need a securely fenced yard where he could exercise and safely play. Come meet our handsome Howard soon.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
