ADOPTING A FRIEND
The adoption fee is $90.00. This includes feline leukemia and FIV tests, microchip, spaying or neutering, rabies and feline distemper vaccines, and deworming.
We do not adopt to homes that declaw or let their cats outside.
FOSTER PROGRAM
We also have a foster program to help with our unadoptable cats, and of course you can come and visit by appointment.
This helps defray the cost of caring for these cats that will spend their lives with us.

DONATIONS
Here are some of the items WE NEED MOST:
good topical flea medication like Revolution (Revolution is expensive-it is a multi purpose preventative and just a few doses from each donor would go a long way to helping our paws stay flea-free),
paper towels,
regular clean old bath towels,
cat and kitten pâté style canned food,
Purina One adult and kitten dry food,
and cat litter, scoopable.
We can also use
Simple Green Cleaner or Orange Plus.
Wild bird seed and fresh peanuts.
As a nonprofit, your gift is tax-deductible.
If you shop with Amazon specify the HSSB to receive a donation with every purchase you make.
VOLUNTEERING
We are always in need of volunteers to help care for the cats and maintain our property.
COME VISIT US!
Open by appointment only. Call between noon and 3, Wed.-Sunday.
If you have any questions about our policies or mission, please contact us with your questions.

We do not receive federal, state or county funding. Although we have a small group of regular donors, this does not come close to covering what we spend on the animals.
Fortunately, legacy bequests to our Society and have enabled us to continue our great work.
Please remember the animals when you prepare your will, and be specific in naming the Humane Society of South Brevard, Inc.
We depend solely on your kindness.
