Meet Ireland

IRELAND is a 1 year old pitbull mix who was found in Philadelphia tied to a pole. She is a fun loving girl who is always in motion! Ireland is currently working with our Dog Trainer to learn how to be Zen. She will make an excellent hiking buddy! Ireland is reactive with other dogs and people on a walk or through a barrier (fence/door etc). We are working on her socialization and she needs to meet people in a proper way. She did nip at a visitor who approached her too quickly. Children with their quick movements will be too over stimulating for her so at this time we feel she will be best in an adult only home with a mom or dad who is active outdoors and can give Ireland her RDA of exercise along with boundaries and training to help her become a well-adjusted adult. She may be able to be in a home with a calm male dog who will give her a positive influence. Ireland has been spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped and heartworm tested. Her new family must make a commitment to continue with her obedience classes with our trainer or yours.
