Jake is a handsome eight-year-old Beagle cross Staffy. He is currently living off-site in a foster home on our Home from Home Scheme. He is housetrained and he travels well in the car. Jake could share a home with another dog, a calm dog who tolerates Jakes’ Beagle bark! He has no history with living with a cat or small furries. Jake is not used to being left so any time alone will need to be built up.
Jake is a fantastic older gent who enjoys trips out to the beach and is happy to visit local cafes. He is instantly friendly with new people, and he likes a fuss. Jake will need his adopters to continue his recall training around other dogs. He is social with other dogs however he does like the sound of his own voice when meeting and greeting which not all dogs will appreciate. Jake is indifferent to toy play. He likes treats and he knows a ‘sit’, ‘paw’, and his name.
