Meet Jasper
You see, .. He's a bulldog. And a young one with tons of energy and the famous bulldog temperament hard-headed.
Let me tell you a little bit about our adorable fart-bucket. Jasper came to us from Texas. His Texas foster said he was a bit of a handful and had tons of energy. At 1.5 years old hes a 10 year old boy mentally. To give him the best start possible, we sent the boy to board and train for 2 weeks for some training where he did very very well. Unfortunately for Jasper, training was wonderful but couldnt fix the traits that are bred into this particular breed. Like literally, hes a bully. Young and stupid with very little frontal lobe development, he will literally bulldoze a child to get whatever he wants from them. Food, balls, . Whatever. If he wants it, he takes his big blubbery body and slams them to take it. Jaspers humans are not very big people and hes smart enough to know he can out pull them so. The little butthead does. Yep. No shame from him.
Jasper is not a bad dog. But honestly, hes probably not the best dog either. Hes Jasper. Train wreck, bulldozer, active, a little hyper, funny Jasper. With small children in the home and her not being a very big person or even intimidating enough to set him straight, its time for him to find a home that is better fitting an active bulldozer - or, er, I mean bulldog. He needs a strong leader. One that can keep up with his training so he can be the best he can be. One that is stronger and smarter than he is, which wont be as hard as it sounds. In the bright color spectrum of a Crayon box, hes definitely a beige. We will even throw in a training session with Wind River Kennels.
Jasper would be awesome with an active couple with older kids (over 100 lbs ) that are dog savvy and can keep up with his training through his childhood ( which I read could last up to 5 years. )
