*** UPDATE: Remember me?

I got bit by a rattlesnake! *** My name is Jewels, and you may remember me from my snake bit picture.

You see, in late August, I was bit by a rattlesnake and spent a couple of days in the hospital.

Thanks to my temporary foster, I had a nice warm bed and quiet home to recover in.

My foster dad learned allot about me too! Turns out, I really am a gem! I'm housebroken, crate trained, and a well-mannered lady.

You can count on me to be on my best behavior! Despite my age, I still have a playful side and enjoy having some fun, but I'm also a bit of a couch potato - the best of both worlds! When it comes to making new doggy friends, I can be a bit selective (no small dogs please), so I prefer a proper introduction to any potential housemates.

But once we're acquainted, who knows, we might become the best of buddies! I absolutely LOVE playing with toys!
