Meet Jinx
Jinx is a 2½ year old Husky mixed with Pomeranian, but he’s not a small guy. He is black and white with a Siberian heart! Jinx grew to be much larger than his family anticipated – he’s the size of an average husky rather than the 20 pound dog his family was told to expect when he was a puppy. Jinx’s family needs a small dog due to family health issues, so Jinx needs a new loving home that can accommodate a medium sized dog. True to his Siberian heritage, he is talented at counter surfing and takes advantage of his human kid’s food droppings, so he could lose a few pounds. He is an active guy who likes to walk but does pulls on a lead as sled dogs will do. He is handsome and vocal – he even barks, which gives away his mixed breed because he certainly takes after the husky side of his family. Jinx is a smart guy. He can open lever door knobs and some round ones. He isn’t much of a jumper, but may slip through a gate, and will find a way to open things. He lets himself out to his yard or deck – both of which are enclosed – and enjoys being outdoors frequently. A secure yard with a vigilant owner will be required! Jinx will thrive as either an only dog or living with a dog that is not dominant. He currently lives with
a tiny Pomeranian and does not hurt her, but does try to play with her.
Jinx needs a home with adults or older children who will provide him with activities and have the patience to consistently remind him that manners are required. He is smart and may respond well to training. He enthusiastically plays with his toys and enjoys activities. Jinx startles easily, particularly when resting, and needs people who understand that. He will bark at new people but quickly comes around once he knows they are friendly.
Jinx is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vet care and vaccinations.
