Meet Jojo 23-047
Meet tiny Jojo! This lucky kitten had quite the scare before she was rescued. A local fisherman heard a "Splish, splash!" and then a faint "Mew." To his surprise, an itty-bitty kitten was struggling to stay afloat in the lake! Though Jojo is very young, she's definitely a fighter, making her way from the lake all the way to one of our fosters' homes where she's safe (and dry!). Her fosters say she quickly warmed up to their two small dogs. "She explored our home for a while. Then she found a good spot in one of our dog beds around the house and fell asleep. She's using the litter box without accidents. She likes to be near or on me or my wife. She enjoyed getting to know our friends that came too." She eats like a champ whether it's her kitten formula or canned kitten food and will even eat hard food if you soften it up a bit. We are all smitten with this kitten, and we know she'll make an excellent, playful addition to any home!
Jojo has been dewormed and had her first round of kitten shots. When she's old enough, she will be spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100.
CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families.
If you are interested in meeting Jojo or learning more about our adoption process, please submit an adoption application on our website. Thank you!
