Meet Julio
Introducing sweet Julio (aka Shmoo, aka Smush). Looking for a good old boy? Ya know, a dignified stud muffin that is potty trained and doesn't cause any trouble in the house? Julio may be for you! This sweet boy is five years old and a thick and fluffy 90(ish) pounds. Don't let his age fool you, he initiates most of the play time with his 2 year old foster sister and is an expert wrestler.
Julio hasn't learned to love toys yet, but he does love his daily peanut butter filled bone and two socks that have been gifted to him.
His favorite part of the day you ask? It's a toss up between breakfast or dinner. Don't worry - he won't let you forget when meal time rolls around as he'll follow you around until you get the hint.
As soon as my tennis shoes are on my feet, Julio is waiting by the door for strolls around the neighborhood - he loves to explore outside and walks well on a leash (aside from the occasional insistence on visiting his favorite trees). He likes to say hi to other dogs, but is big on stranger danger and isn't too sure about letting their humans get too close to him.
Julio loves his foster family, although it took him some time to get adjusted. He loves couch snuggles, all the pets, and really any attention he can get. We aren't sure what happened in Julio's past, but he tends to be very afraid of new people. He will take some time to trust and get comfortable in his new home. Once he feels safe, he'll be your best friend.
All dogs and puppies require VISIBLE fencing.

While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer.
