Meet Junie

Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. Junie, 5 years old, spayed female, Retriever mix, 40 pounds. She is in a foster home in Houston, Texas and is able to transport to an approved adopter outside of Texas.

I am Junie. The best doggie you will ever see! A Houston woman dumped me out on the street. I was found with my brother in the hot summer heat.

I like all sorts of dogs and any humans that will give me some pats. I know how to sit pretty for a treat which my foster says is pretty darn neat! I really like to lounge and lay, I’m down to cuddle any day. I love to lay out and bathe in the sun, life with me is sure to be fun!

I always go potty outside… with me there really is no downside. I also really love my crate and my manners are just super great. The humans think I may be part lab, but either way I sure am fab! I have pretty blue eyes that look just like the skies.

I hope you will consider adopting me and making time the happiest doggie you’ll ever see! I walk well on leash and do well in the car.

Junie really is the perfect catch… She’s low-medium energy and can totally fit into almost any home. She’s down to either hang out on the couch or go with you out and about. She’s done totally fine with dogs of various sizes and while she has not shared a home with a cat, we THINK she would do fine with them.
