Kanga's guardians have made the difficult choice to rehome her. She has been with them since she was a puppy and will remain with them until the most perfect home for her is found.

Kanga is a happy go lucky, typical JRT who has the oh there's another shiny thing, in other words a bit of doggy ADHD. She's also a couch potato and loves hanging with her people watching TV, sleeps on the bed and is quite the performer for treats - - sits, dances, crawls and more.

She loves all people of all ages. Kanga is great is the house and uses the dog door. She is not a fan of being in a crate and will bark.

She has been through obedience training and received a the Good Citizen Canine certificate, but needs a little tune up, coming when called not bolting through an open door. She turns her hearing off and doesn't come when called when off lead.

Typical of a JRT she likes to chase cats and small critters and then there's another shiny thing. Although she lives with other dogs, due to some spats she has been in with the other JRT, we recommend no other dogs in the home.

She is obsessed with her babble ball and other indestructible toys, and she absolutely loves opening presents and Amazon boxes. She does like to go for rides and does well on lead.

Kanga will only be placed in a home with a secure fenced yard, preferably a privacy fence and will not place in a home with an invisible fence.

Kanga needs guardians who have the time and energy to exercise and play with her and a strong leader so she knows she is safe and there is no need to be reactive to other dogs etc.

She is not a dog park dog and must be monitored when walking on lead and encountering other dogs. She is NOT an off lead dog.

Mandatory home ownership, mandatory secure fenced yard. We will not place any pet in a home that has unaltered domesticated pets.
