Meet Katie

Katie is an approximately 3 year old domestic shorthair who was brought to VAC in April 2023. When she arrived, we noticed she was recently a mama cat and although she didn't come in with her kittens, she helped us raise a litter that didn't have a mom! Once they were old enough to be on their own, Katie started her search for her forever home. She is such a sweet girl with a surprising amount of energy and will play with almost any toy you give her. She loves to make up her own games and hide her toys under blankets so that she can find them and go crazy!

Although she's playful, she is very gentle about it and has not scratched or bit at any time under our care. She takes some time to warm up to new cats and can be a bit hissy at first but she just needs a very slow introduction process to ANY new animal she will meet.
