Meet our ex-racer Kevin who will win the race for your heart! Kevin came in from another rescue so we have limited information on him.

Kevin is a lovely boy who enjoys the company of humans. He has been relaxed for all of his handling and loves leaning into your legs for a fuss. He has been a little stressed when alone in his kennel, so is looking for someone who will be around most of the day while he is settling into his new home.

Kev is a total foodie and loves using things like a puzzle feeder or a kong, so we would recommend switching up feeding methods at mealtimes to keep it fun and mentally stimulating for him.

Although Kevin has retired from racing, he still loves to zoom around at high speed so would love a private garden to do laps in. He could live with children 8 and up, but they would need to be confident around big dogs and able to give him space when he needs it. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home for now as he doesn't get a lot from dogs, although he would benefit from some walking buddies to keep up his socialisation.

Kevin's new owners would benefit from doing some research on sight hounds before taking Kevin on. Greyhounds are known for their chase drive, he has shown some signs of chase behaviours, though these have mostly been around small fluffy dogs or dogs that are moving very fast. Kevin will need to be kept muzzled and on lead when out and about.
