Meet Kitty Purry
I am from a litter of 3 that were outside trying to survive in the cold. We were trapped and went to a foster home where we were warm, had plenty of food and could be socialized.
I am a beautiful girl with big gold eyes and legs a little shorter than normal. I will hiss and hide (and maybe growl) when I am approached, especially if I am in my “safe” cat tree hole. I will feel threatened by your presence. I am considered “semi-feral” which basically means you cannot touch or pet me.
I do come out of my “hidey” hole when there are no humans in the adoption center and roam around and probably play. If a volunteer comes in after-hours I quickly run back to my “safe” spot.
I will require a calm, quiet home and do need a cat friend that I can bond with. No dogs please. A child free home may also be best.
I have been spayed, micro chipped, tested negative for FELV/FIV, and vaccinated for feline distemper and rabies.
You can see me at our Adoption Center. Please call for more information and/or to schedule an appointment. Appointments are typically available Tuesday through Saturday.
