Sweet Kody was found walking the streets of California, and was brought in to the shelter by a field officer.
From there he made his way to Coquitlam to Barney's Furry Friends Rescue, and is now being fostered by his lovely foster mom in North Vancouver.
Kody is currently being trained by our dog trainer and his foster mom.
Kody has never had any training done, and has learnt to "rule" the household.
He has never had any boundaries or had anything expected of him.
So he is now learning who is the pack leader, along with all of a sudden finding himself in new challenging environments where his foster mom is asking different commands of him, and making him use both his physical and mental strengths.
Kody is a smart boy, but hasn't gotten to use his potential, and therefor developed a dominant behaviour.
He is now shifting and blooming day by day.
Kody's ideal home would be with someone who is willing to continue his training, challenge his brain and be lively with him.
He deserves a life filled with more than just laying on the couch all day.
He has lots of love to give, and can't wait to finally find his last, and forever home.
