Meet Kona
Meet Kona! This sweet girl is looking for a great home, where she can be part of the pack. She loves mountain adventures, roaming around (fenced) areas with other canine friends, and snuggling up inside around her human family. Kona has a fun personality and is at a great stage in life -- still healthy and active but advanced beyond her rowdy youthful days. She's about 6.5 years old and has been a wonderful member of the household in the 5 years her owner has had her. She is spayed and current on all vaccinations and preventative medications.
Kona suffers from separation anxiety. So, she should not be crated or confined to a kennel for any period of time. She will need to be in an environment where she has humans/dogs to keep her company and/or someone to continue her separation anxiety training. (More info on her current regimen can be shared.) While not a requirement, a home with (fenced and secured) property to explore would be great. She knows basic commands, has spent lots of time in social settings like dog daycare and dog parks. No bite history. Typical husky prey drive and desire to run (so please no households with cats or expectations of off-leash play). While she loves most people, she may do best with older children (or those who can respect her boundaries). She really is a special dog and will undoubtedly fill your life with love and entertainment for years to come. Kona is currently located in Bellingham, WA.
