Meet Kylie
Hi everyone, I'm Kylie! I am a 5 year old Alaskan Eskimo mix and I am looking for my forever home. I've come along way since being with my lovely foster family and I have blossomed into a very affectionate dog. I am still kind of shy when meeting new pets and people but when I'm acclimated, I'm a friend to all!
I'm an energetic girl who loves to play and go outdoors and I love to watch tv! I like to put my nose on the television and pay close attention. I do good with other dogs as well. When meeting new pets, I am hesitant but it doesn't take me long to warm up. My foster sister and I don't fight over food but I can be quite greedy so I will need to be fed separately from my new pet siblings.
I'm such a good girl and I love to cuddle up on the couch with you but some times my listening ears don't work, so I will need a family who doesn't mind teaching me some manners! I am very trainable and treat motivated. I understand sit and down! I am good on a leash but I get super excited about going outside so I do pull a little bit. I'm also a happy yappy girl outside and will bark and vocalize when I see other dogs but don't be alarmed, I am not aggressive.
I love everyone but sometimes I like to sit alone, away from everyone and hang out by myself. I love my crate and will often go sit in it without being asked. My past is unknown prior to coming to my foster family so at times I am very hesitant and can become afraid. But, as long as I have plenty of toys, I will be a happy girlie.
My ideal family is one that can provide me with a safe, spacious home with lots of toys, love and patience. I can thrive being the only pet in your home or one of many. I am trainable and very smart. I pick up on things quickly. I am fully potty trained and love being in my crate.
If you're interested in me, please reach out to the rescue. I can't wait to meet you all!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
