Hi! My name is La Comadre.
I'm a medium-sized, sweet, young dog with short white and brown hair.
My story begins somewhat sadly.
I was abandoned, most likely because I was sick, since I had a transmissible venereal tumor (TVT).
However, my luck changed when I was rescued.
My rescuer promoted different activites to raise funds which covered my first 4 chemotherapy sessions.
Soon after, they realized that I was pregnant, and since the chemo could have affected the puppies, they thought the best option was to spay me.
Since then, thanks to donations by many people, we were able to pay for my remaining 13 chemo sessions, as well as my deworming, vaccination and spaying.
I'm all recovered now, and to be honest, I'm a super cool and sweet dog.
I was always wellbehaved and cheerful whenever I went to the vet for my chemo sessions, a place that became like my second home.
I also get along well with the other dogs that live in my foster home.
I hope that the efforts of all the people that have helped me along the way bear fruit and I can soon find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
