Introducing Ladybug! This little chi-pup came to AFRP with her sister (who has since been adopted!) from Hitchcock Road Animals Services where they were both shut down in the shelter environment.
Now, thanks to the loving help of her foster family, Ladybug has made a complete 180 and is now looking for her forever home.
Ladybug is a major people-pleaser but can be a bit timid at first - luckily she's quick to warm up and loves all the good attention this can bring her! She's been hard at work on her puppy manners and recently learned "sit", her foster shares she couldn't be more proud of herself after that one! She's still working on her potty-training but is making amazing strides! Her foster says shes a sweet girl and such an easy-going pup, she loves to chase balls and play with her stuffed toys! Ladybug is looking for a home where her adopters are able to be with her throughout the day to provide continued positive socialzation and to ensure she's hitting all her training landmarks! She would love a home with another dog to continue boosting her own confidence, especially since she is coming from a foster home with other pups that she loves, she has not been around cats but should be introduced to any new animal in the home slowly over time.
Adult adopters or families with children over the age of 12 would be best for Ladybug due to her size.
Ladybug is currently in foster care.
