Hiya I'm Leaf! I am a 8 month old, neutered male terrier mix who currently weighs around 22 pounds.

I am an energetic little guy who can't get enough love from my favorite people! One of my favorite activities is to run zoomies so be prepared to be entertained by my antics- I am speedy! I still need to learn a lot about the world, so having a family who is excited to help me learn how to be the best dog ever is ideal.

I would do best in a home that's had dogs before, and ready to handle my overly excitable nature.

Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions:
11 am - 5 pm, 7 days a week
Adoptions will be done on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that adoptions process can take a minimum of 1 hour.

You must be 18 or older to adopt.

If you prefer to set up an appointment, please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to and an adoption counselor will call you make an appointment to meet in person.

Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA .

Please note at this time we are doing adoptions by appointments only.

Please call us at to schedule an hours are weekdays from 11am-6pm and weekends from 11am-5pm (closed major holidays).

Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.

We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can't guarantee every animal you see is still available.

It's also typical for us to have animals who haven't had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.

Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
