Meet Leni Loud
Leni Loud here! I'm a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves people and other cats. I'm a typical playful kitten but when it's time to nap, my favorite spot to sleep is on a lap! I've been here at the shelter for a few months now because I need extra special care. I have a condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency or EPI. This means that my pancreas doesn't make enough enzymes for my body to properly digest my food, which is a bummer because I love food! I was feeling really bad before the humans found out what condition I have but now they add an enzyme supplement to my food and I've been feeling so much better. Even though I'm a little bit more work than your average kitten, I promise I'm worth it! The people here say that with regular doctor visits and my enzyme supplements, I'll live a long healthy life! I would love to get out of a cage and live in a home with another cat friend who I can play with. Please ask the people at the shelter for more information on my condition if you think a special kitten could fit into your life!
Come meet me at the SPCA of Hancock County at 141 Bar Harbor Rd, Trenton, ME 04605! If you fill out an application ahead of time, you can be pre-approved to adopt and take me home the same day you visit, if we're a pawfect fit! And if we're not, you might meet your next pet while visiting me, so it's worth it to fill out that application!
If you aren't in a position to adopt right now, you can still support me through our Pet Pal program. Monthly givers in our Pet Pal program get letters, photos, and more directly from us animals - you can even mention you want to hear directly from me. Join today!
