Meet Liam! I'm Liam, the pup who broke the internet in Sun City, AZ! My escapades made me a legend, and I'm here to tell you about it.
Prepare to be charmed by my unique journey and irresistible personality! No one knows how long I was on my own with only other dogs to hang with.
My people think it was quite awhile.
This is why I don't mind people but really prefer dog friends right now.
We are working on my social skills and being touched.
Based on how I act we think that no one spent time petting me.
I don't mind some chin scratches (once I get to know you) but petting my back and sides makes me uncomfortable.
Because of this I do NOT like being picked up.
My friends at the shelter are helping me work through this.
They do want everyone to know that I may never be OK with being picked up.
Hopefully I will tolerate it better as time goes by.
I think I will enjoy being petted at some point but it may take some time.
Now on to the amazing things about me! First one, I am ADORABLE! short hair, long hair, it doesn't matter I am adorable.
When I am outside running around playing with my friends I am so happy! My nickname is teddy bear because I look like one.
Once I know and trust you I will give you my happy dance when ever I see you.
I walk on a leash.
I'm not perfect at it but I am WAY better (think Tasmanian devil) than I was.
I had my first groom that I did not have to be sedated for recently.
I wore a muzzle but I did really good for my first time.
I love to play in the dog pool! This is my all time favorite thing to do.
I am ok with a muzzle.
This is something that I may always need to wear when being picked up/groomed.
I'm ok with it and the more I wear it the more I get comfortable with it.
