Meet Lilah
Questions about our adoption process can generally be answered by reviewing the Adoption FAQ's.
Just take a look at this beauty that is looking for her forever home. Her name is Lilah.
1 year old female – Shep/Dobbie mix
Spayed 10/22 and is 22 inches tall and 45 lbs.
She is Black/tan/brown. She is UTD on her shots and is chipped. Of course you will have to change the information on her chip to yours.
Okay with smaller female dog – larger male dog gets to rough and she does not like that – so will not engage – just walks away
Did live with cats – is playful with them but gets too rough
No exposure to livestock
Lives with a 2 year old – but we would say she would be better with older kids as she is very active and does jump
Working on house breaking
Okay in a crate
Is both inside and outside -when out is in a 5 foot high fence and does not get out.
She is learning to sit and come when called
Okay on leash but does pull.
Scared of fireworks – whines and shakes
Currently eating blue buffalo dry food – she tends to get diarrhea from canned food, so would not advice giving her any.
No food aggression – you can take food away no problem
She is a very happy active young lady – loves people and attention. Would do great with a active family that will give her tons of exercise – She loves to carry toys around she has a special stuffed Mickey Mouse that is current favorite – she also loves to run in the yard.
If you would like Lilah as a family companion and have the love, time and patience to teach her all she needs to know, so she can be all she can be.
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
Thanks for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
