Meet Lily
I came into this world on a farm, where people bought dogs destined for dog meat farms. This farm was located right next to a city shelter. A compassionate city shelter volunteer spotted me and my siblings, knowing that our fate was dire. Born into this world with no experience of living with people, they couldn't bear to see us suffer and decided to rescue us from this heartbreaking life.
I'm a bit of a shy girl, understandably so, given my early experiences. It might take around 3-7 days for me to warm up and trust people. However, with patience and love, my heart is open to the possibility of a deep bond.
When it comes to other dogs, I'm quite sociable. I'll say hello and engage politely, though I'm not always in the mood for play. Conflict isn't my style, and I'm more likely to steer clear of any disputes, fostering a harmonious environment.
I possess a moderate energy level, relishing outdoor adventures, and then transforming into a calm and content pup once indoors.
While walking, I'm a pro at following the handler, demonstrating my willingness to learn and adapt.
don't guard resources, whether they're meant for people or other dogs. You'll be pleased to know that I'm not a barker and I'm well-behaved in various situations.
In the car, when I'm snug in a crate, I'm a quiet and composed traveler, making trips a breeze.
You'll find me to be an outdoor potty champion, reducing the need for indoor cleanup.
Everybody who's met me agrees - aside from my initial shyness, I'm close to being the perfect dog. When I'm introduced to a new environment, I might seek refuge in a corner. However, with the passage of time, I will muster the courage to approach first and ask for affection. The first week of adopting me is crucial, and the key is to provide space and time to allow me to adjust.
I can't wait to become a part of your loving family. Together, we can write a heartwarming story of trust, transformation, and a bond that lasts a lifetime.
