Meet Lindsay
ABOUT LINDSAY
She's shy but sweet! Meet Lindsay! She is a 10 month old hound mix that can't wait to head home! Lindsay came to HAP with her brother, Louis, from a high-intake shelter in Louisiana where they were at risk for euthanasia due to space. Despite being siblings, they are not bonded and can be adopted individually! Lindsay enjoys hanging out with other pups and opens up much faster with another furry friend around. She can be shy at first with new people, but warms up with treats and neck scratches. Lindsay can be scared of loud noises and fast movements, so she would likely do best in a home with older kids.
Be sure to check back for more! In the meantime, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire if interested in adoption! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
