Meet Link
Meet Link, an adorable Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix estimated to be somewhere between two and three-years-old. Link is full grown in height and will ultimately be a "pocket Pyr" or on the large side for an Aussie. This gorgeous boy yearns for pets and will lean into you or lie across your lap when receiving affection. His Aussie side brings out some high energy moments, but his Pyrenees side makes him chill compared to most young adult dogs.
Link is confident, friendly, playful, and adores the company of both people and dogs. He will benefit from being in a home with canine companionship. He loves to run around the yard and go on walks and hikes. Link wants to play with every new dog he meets. He will adorably jump or leap when he's excited, including when he's playing.
Link is an extremely quick learner and very eager to please, though (as is typical for a Pyrenees), can often be independently minded. He has learned many commands with his foster family and will thrive in a home dedicated to keeping him mentally and physically engaged. He enjoys car rides and would love to accompany you on errands. He also is crate trained and will entertain himself or nap when he needs to have quiet alone time. Link is generally food motivated, but can be somewhat selective and will hilariously spit out some treats.
Overall Link is a very adaptable dog who could be happy in most cat-free homes with at least one other dog. If you also can’t resist Link’s playful demeanor and apricot-colored floof, consider completing an adoption application!
All dogs and puppies require VISIBLE fencing.
Adoption fee: $300 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, rabies, distemper, parvo and health certificate for travel). Adopters located outside of Texas pay the cost of transport to an independent transport service ($250).
