Lita the Akita is a loveable lady, aged seven. Docile in her nature, Lita may take a few meets to get to know a new face, however once she does she is an affectionate girlie. The youngest members of her family will need to be of a later, secondary-school age and she will need to be the only pet at home. Building up her social skills and confidence around other calm and friendly dogs would be hugely beneficial, and she may need support with her housetraining. Leaving her alone at home should be built up very gradually as Lita is very loyal to her people.
Being a mature pooch, Lita is looking forward to a home where she can relish some of life’s simple pleasures. Relaxing sniffari walks (walks with lots of sniffs), a tasty chew to settle down with, and a cosy bed to curl up on will all help to keep her tail wagging! As your bond with Lita grows, so will her enjoyment for tactile interaction. She’s particularly fond of having her fur groomed with a soft brush and likes to lean in for more.
