Little Bit is an eight year, male, brown chihuahua/terrier. He weighs 10lbs. He was left in an apartment when his owner packed up and moved. Humans did not have the decency to ensure Little Bit’s safety. They took everything except the dog and his little dog bed; closed the door and left him behind. The neighbor saved him and contacted us to place Little Bit into a rescue. He was slated for a high-kill shelter, but we saved him before that happened. Little Bit is very quiet, well-mannered and loves his human. He would probably do best as the only dog. He walks well on a leash, received a dental and is up to date on all vaccinations. Little Bit is currently in a foster home with other dogs. He gets along OK, but does not love sharing food with other dogs. He wants to dominate the food bowl which is natural when there are multiple dogs. He is fine with humans around his food, just doesn’t want to share with other dogs. We think he would be more comfortable as the only dog. Little Bit is the kind of dog who loves attention, but will get in a dog bed and takes long naps. He is sweet, but not needy. He is somewhat independent, but does enjoy being with his human. Let’s find Little Bit the most amazing home for his remainder years. He is healthy and ready to go.
