ABOUT LIVIE
Meet Livie the lovebug! This gorgeous girl is a 4 year old boxer mix. She came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in Louisiana, when they no longer had space for her. Livie quickly became a staff favorite for her big eyes and even bigger heart! She has a very mellow, go-with-the-flow personality, making her a great addition to any home! She likes going for long walks followed by a snuggle session on her bed. Livie loves people and enjoys receiving affection. She can be timid at first with other dogs, but once she's comfortable, she loves hanging with her fur friends. Livie already knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and appears house-trained!

Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
