Hunter is a sweet and loving Chihuahua mix. who's about 5 years old and around 15lb. Hunter is a bit overweight. We're working on that, but his forever home will have to continue to work on it with him. In his current situation, he has 4 foster brothers and sisters, all under 15lb, and he gets along great with all of them. Ideally Hunter would be best as an only dog or one other dog at the most. Don't know how he is with cats. Hunter came to us at Thanksgiving when his male owner with dementia surrendered him. Hunter has taken to his foster dad and follows him all over the house, has a bed in his office, sits with him on the couch and sleeps with him at night. Let his foster dad leave and he's right in his foster mom's lap! So, he is NOT a man's dog. He loves women too! He just bonds strongly with his person. Hunter sits up on his hind legs in the begging position and likes to get his belly rubbed. He's so cute! He would make a great companion or lap dog. He is fully house trained and learned to use our dog door with only a couple accidents. He walks really well on a leash and that will help in the weight loss effort. Hunter has been microchipped, had all his vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered.
