Meet Lucky
Here is Lucky, a 4-year-old Aussie doodle weighing 34.30 kg, a true gourmet who loves treats and games, especially with a ball!
Lucky is an active and playful companion who finds joy in chasing the ball and spending time with humans. Although he can be a bit excited when meeting new people, his calm demeanor reflects his transition to adulthood. He can sometimes be destructive if he’s bored or seeking attention, but he generally has little difficulty staying calm when alone, as long as his energy needs are met.
He has already met children and enjoys cuddles, just as he looks forward to any visitors at home. However, his future family will need to be prepared to work on his reactivity towards other dogs. Lucky seems to experience fear when encountering them, which leads him to bark and pull on the leash. He may also react excessively to the sight of dogs on television.
Addressing this behavior will require professional help from a dog trainer, especially if Lucky is adopted into an urban environment where he is often confronted with other dogs. In such circumstances, medication might be considered to help him manage his emotions and be more receptive to training.
Note that it is preferable not to take Lucky to dog parks due to his unpredictable reactions, and it is important to note that he is vocal. A home with a yard and a fenced-in area is therefore necessary to meet his needs and ensure his daily happiness.
