Meet Lucky

Lucky, 2 years old, neutered male, Staffordshire Terrier/boxer mix, 71 lbs. He is in a foster home in Medina, OH and is ready for meet and greets!

He’s a big sweetheart who absolutely adores human affection. He was adopted, but he is having strong reactions to an elderly family member in a wheelchair in the home. They have made the hard decision to find a new home for Lucky.

As you may guess, when he gets moving he is energetic! He LOVES to play with other dogs and does wonderful with the two other dogs in the home. He loves playing tug of war and keep away with the toys. He does get excited when seeing other dogs on leash and wants to say hi.

He has been around kids ages 2-14 years old and does great with all of them. We do want to note, given his size he could accidentally knock over a smaller child. When he is not in play mode, he is very chill.

Lucky walks well on leash, but will pull to get to a squirrel. He does not generally pull and typically walks close to you. He occasionally has an accident in the house. He does great in his crate and sleeps in it at night.

He needs a house where will get a lot of activity and have some room to run.

We are hopeful he will have a dog friend in his new home as he really enjoys having a friend. He is very loving and bonds quickly to his humans.

No cats.
