Meet Lucy
Meet little lady Lucy. She'll have you saying "I Love Lucy" because of how sweet and wonderful she is. She'll hop up onto the couch with you when you sit down and nudge you to let you know she wants to be pet. Lucy spends a lot of her time on the tippy top shelf in the room. That way she can observe everyone else from above and be away from the other rambunctious cats. Human friends are great for Lucy, but having other feline friends is not as great. She would most likely be happiest being the only cat in the home. Or be in a home with another cat who keeps Lucy's personal boundaries and space in mind. Even though Lucy happily accepts pets, we have noticed that scratching/petting her backside near her tail or petting her too roughly does upset her. It's recommended to pet Lucy's head, neck, and shoulders with a gentle touch. It's her preference, and we can respect that! There is a note in her file stating that she did not like the dog in her previous caretaker's home, so it may be best for Lucy to be adopted into a home without a canine. Come by to meet Lucy today!
