Lulu, 1 YR old, female, Shepherd mix, weighs 48 lbs.
She is in a foster home in Burien, WA and is ready for meet and greets! Her foster mom, who Lulu adores, calls her Poppy.
She has really flourished in her foster home.
She was initially very nervous of her new surroundings, but with the help of her doggy siblings she has built her confidence.
She loves her big four legged friend (he's about 65 pounds).
It took her a little bit to figure out the smaller dogs, but is now good friends.
She will need another dog in the home to maintain her confidence and continue her positive socialization skills.
She shares a home with kids and loves them! At the end of the school year, she would help by dropping/picking them up.
We think she would do well with any age child who is respectful of animal boundaries.
We have no history with cats.
She is potty trained and has spent time in a crate and does well.
She has spurts of energy, but likes to stay close to her foster mom! She is very cuddly and affectionate.
She loves her foster mom, but can be a bit timid when she meets men.
Lulu's ideal home will have another dog and is willing to be patient as she gets to know her surroundings before her personality shines through.
