Meet Luna
LUNA IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
Luna arrived at Orange County Animal Shelter as a stray. She was friendly with staff and volunteers and loves to play. Luna tore her ACL and it required medical attention. Shelters do not have the resources to help dogs like Luna. Cruciate surgeries are expensive and mindful aftercare with physical therapy is required for 8+ weeks until recovery is complete.
Upon arrival at BBBR Luna was immediately transferred and examined by Dr. Lake at All Valley Animal Hospital. CBLO surgery was performed to repair her cruciate, she was a happy, sweet patient while in their awesome care! She is recovering well.
Due to Luna's torn ACL, she was not tested with other dogs in the shelter. She will not be ready for off leash meets until she has the A-OK from her veterinarian.
PERSONALITY TRAITS-
Luna is a sweetheart with staff and medical providers. She has not been reactive in the facility and friendly and non-reactive when walking by the other dogs. She loves to ride in the car and sniff the fresh Idaho air, freedom has never smelled so good! She could have cared less about her leg when being transfered to the BBBR facility. She shines with gratefulness!
