Meet Luna
Questions about our adoption process can generally be answered by reviewing the Adoption FAQ's.
If you are looking for a happy goofball, here she is. Her name is Luna. Luna right now weighs 25 lbs. Luna has been exposed to cats and she just ignores them. She has also been around other dogs from 2 lbs to 100 lbs and children from ages 4 to adult and does great. She is working on house training and doing well with a bell at the door and lets the foster know when she wants to go out. Luna is crate trained at night and is not a barker unless she is playing. Luna is an inside dog and loves being with her person. If her person goes outside, that is where she wants to be and vice a versa. She needs a fenced in yard to run around and play in.
Lunas likes: She likes playing with other dogs and she likes to lead them. Her other favorite thing to do is go into the pond and swim.
If you would like Luna as a companion and have the time, love and patience to teach her all she needs to know so she can be all she can be.
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
Thanks for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
